I think that some damaging videos of Biden are going to be released. Prior to that, they intend to overload the internet with deepfakes so that when the REAL damaging videos are released everyone writes it off as another deep fake.
"Oh. So you have damaging video footage of Biden and want to blackmail us? We'll just make sure no one even believes your video footage. We will release thousands of deep fake videos of Biden doing silly or gross things and make it look like alt-right ai generated fiction."
This could be part of it, but I think it's even simpler: they're just normalizing AI and making it look harmless so people will be more open to it. Think long-term. This is bigger than Biden.
They could show live footage of Biden and Trump raping children and not a single soul would do a goddamn thing about it. They could come on TV and announce that they are Israeli puppets and that every US government action for the last 60 years has been exclusively for the benefit of Israel and no one would do anything.
