BIPOC requirements, and calling people bigots for not watching isn't working.

Kubrick made Eyes Wide Shut, which hit too close to home for the rest of the Pedowood cabal. He couldnt be allowed to continue.
conspiracy time! Kubrick "died" 666 days before 2001...
It also goes the other way...legacies is one of the top games this year eve after the push to boycott the game over J.K Rowling's comments.
My son said there were adults attacking people for buying the game at brick and mortar stores. He's a tiktoker sigh. JK didn't do or say anything wrong, and the woke were told not to look at it. The people that actually looked at it support her, and it's burning them up inside.
I believe its now the highest grossing game this year which is great. I read its gonna spawn a franchise with more to come...U gotta love to see the cancel culture backfire.
I don't think they're trying to please everyone. Are you familiar with this?

These arbitrary rules are what's bombing shows.
I've been watching older movies recently.
The people have spoken, and no amount of name calling has changed their mind. This is indeed good.
there are very few movies made after 1999 that dont have some kind of BS in it that i notice now, there will still be that random feminist man/patriarchy hating statement in there somewhere.
There are a few movies that I have enjoyed: 1917, The Northman, The Wind That Shakes The Barley, Margin Call, about anything from Mel Gibson and Clint Eastwood
i meant after 1999. Jurassic Park was 1993.
EDIT: Even Jurassic Park had a feminist moment in it, when Dr Grand, Malcom and Sattler were talking about: God creating dinosaurs, destroying dinosaurs, creating man, man creating dinosaurs, dinosaurs destroy man, women inherit the earth.
Cringe
There are so many waves of feminism people study the history. I am an I'm not helpless feminist. I still appreciate being treated as a lady, and will hold a door open for anyone. I grew up with the feminism of being able to make the choice to do whatever I wanted.
Femimazis were the first step of the woke nonsense. Did you know there are people calling women that like to be traditional creepy?! It's not about making choices for yourself anymore. My son likes to tell me about tiktok drama.
1960s feminism destroyed women, and relationships [coupled with birth control and abortion, but thats another story] and since their happiness has been measured, women have been less happy every year since feminism.
Feminism also has its roots in marxism. And the founding 2nd wave feminist agreed to feminist bible by Simone De Beauvoir, she has stated "women should not have the choice between raising children or working because they will take raising children every time."
All feminism did was pit women against men, who didnt want the fight so they withdrew, while getting women into the work force under the guise of liberation.... because working for a company that doesnt give a shit about you and would fire you in the morning for whatever reason and put out a "help wanted" sign that afternoon is liberating but being married to a man whom you willingly chose who willingly takes care of your everything is slavery. It also depressed wages so now in the west, unless the father makes really good money, both parents have to work and their children be raised by the state.... pure marxism.
Additionally, feminism has drilled into western women such a distrust of men that they structure their lives with one foot financially out the door. Distrust is hardly the basis for a stable family, and its the children that suffer, who witness their parents not trusting each other and the generational cycle starts all over again.
PS: 80% of divorces in the US are initiated by women, which says something considering there are no penalties, only incentives..... which LBJ used to break up black families [75% single mothers], and extrapolated to all families now.
As a woman that filed for divorce because I married too young, to a man that I didn't even like as a person by the time I realized a was a married single mother, I would like to tell you. I visited my grandparents. They have fought my entire life. I walked out the door and decided then and there I was filing for divorce. I did it the very next day. My grandmother who is still married to my grandfather told me she was very proud of me. Statistics don't allow you to feel the emotion that people live while they're just a number. I was married to a man that refused to be a house husband, but was not legally allowed to work in this country. While I actively made more than him, and he sabotaged me consistantly.
I learned the term starter marriage in therapy.
I'm out of practice, but there's also a thought of feminism that considered being lesbian the purest form. It was an older one. Mistakes have definitely been made, and I've read articles that are very convincing about intentionally getting half the population into the workforce.
Femism with all its baggage is still the word for not being a damsel in distress.

None of the articles list of biggest shows have been watched by anyone in my home. The one show I willingly watched was Wednesday because I kept reading articles, and seeing clips. There's diversity, but it makes sense / is never a focus. If you weren't aware first legacy media tried to create drama between Christina Ricci, and the new Wednesday. When that didn't work they are currently nitpicking comments the new Wednesday has made in interviews. It's stupid drama that adults in the industry should not be doing to a child actor.
And if you were wondering Morticia Adams is Catherine Zeta Jones. I had to look it up, and I learned that's a welsh accent that she rocks.
If you like that franchise, then look for decade old web series "Adult Wednesday Addams".
I did enjoy it. I have to be honest though. I do not consider myself a prude, but there was once or twice I wasn't too sure about sexual jokes because of the age of the people making them. But, I know I've said worse when I was younger. Thank you for the reccomendation, I'll look for it.
the funniest thing about this is all the woke crap coming out now was produced starting 2-3 years ago. that is the duration it takes from start to being ready for a screen. This is all the Hollywood woke crap that they bet on being successful coming to fruition now. they bet wrong 2 - 3 years ago and are paying for it now.
I was explaining that to one of my kids the other day. We like to chat about current events, but he gets his from tiktok. BLEH! He said there are shows they are attempting to save but it's really expensive.
what bothers me most about Hollywood movies now is 2 things:
there are no more risk taking on low budget movies that arent some pop-comedy. There are no longer these movies that are low budget, low risk, and may not be successful in their current premier but become cult and critic favorites later.
the big budget movies are not catered to the english speaking audience anymore. The actors arent great, the dialogue isnt great, the plot is simplistic, but about every scene is extremely visually pleasing. If you watched the 1984 Dune and the 2021 Dune you would see exactly what I am talking about. Paul and the other characters do not have internal dialogue and you never get the sense that Paul is frightened about his uncertain future and attempting to be brave in spite of it like you did in the 1984 version. Why spend money on good acting and dialogue when its going to be dubbed over and the themes wont translate well into other languages anyways.
You can also look at the Transformers movies, which were a flop in the US but the Chinese absolutely loved them, so they made 5 more with 2 more coming.
Have you seen the internal dialog threads on reddit? Before them I was not aware that there are people that don't have an internal dialog. But, there are, and the number has increased.

I'm showing my age, but not having an internal dialog used to rare, and a sign there was an issue. When people started talking about the dumbing down of education no one listened. And here we are. It's my opinion that no internal dialog is part of this, and I believe they knew what they were doing in the same way they knew masks on early childhood learners would hinder their emotional intelligence development. But, they did it anyway.
There is a study done on inmates regarding internal dialog that I can't find. But, it basically said they were that way because something bad happened to them. If you look up reddit threads on the topic, that's where I learned it.
Although, the case could be made that no one could compete with Sir Patrick Stuart in that way... I don't think the audience has the attention span to watch a film like that these days.
The Chinese market is an issue in itself. I'm not sure if you're aware, but most of the time the Chinese version is completely different than ours. Especially when lgb is involved. China even made femboys illegal. China is not having the woke agenda, and they're such a money maker that studios bend over backwards to meet their standards.
I've been watching mostly old movies lately. Usually I listen to podcasts while I'm doing something else.
How do these people read if they dont have an internal dialog? i thought most people could think faster than their mouth could move. Maybe when you are 2-3 years old you read each word at the speed you would say it outloud because you are saying it in your head, but once you get better at reading you no longer sound out the words in your head.
I remember a reddit thread that 5 various definitions of an apple, from a simple outline to a really low resolution one, to one in full detail with the characteristic spade shaped jagged edge leaves. It asked which one can you visualize in your head. And most of the people responded that they cannot visualize it at all.
No inner dialogue and no ability to visualize. They are literally NPCs.
When I read a good book, it's like a movie in my mind. When I listen to good lyrics it's like a movie in my mind. I have always been this way, but I also remember taking turns reading aloud in 3rd grade, and mad minutes. ( timed math) Both of which were removed due to feelings.
I'm showing my age again, but I was listening to this song ( it's Crime Story by DMX) And someone told me it was boring. You don't even have to like the man to appriecte that this song is a musical movie.

My elders bemoaned that I didn't get the education they got. I didn't get it until my kids didn't get the education I got.
you see this all the time in western cinema.
LGBT characters, or characters that the woke Pedowood wants to promote [black] are made ancillary characters in their big budget movies. Those characters have no purpose to advance the plot in a movie and can easily be deleted in the Chinese version without a continuity issue.
You saw this very prominently in the new Star Wars movies, John Boyega or whatever his name is, black stormtrooper guy, played absolutely zero part in advancing the plot of the movies. He wasnt even allowed to die a heros death: sacrifice himself to save others, by flying that rat-trap skiff thing into the cannon charging to break the door at the Rebels last stand base. He literally had no point in the movies.
When George Lucas kept saying he had nothing to do with the new work, we should have known.
i like Georges depiction of Watto and his hilarious parallels
there was [i think] that new Batgirl movie, that was completely done filming and in post production, and they just canceled it. It will never be shown on a screen.
Funny shit!
I just had a DC universe discussion with my teenager last night. The problem they have is drama. Are you familiar, or do you need a rundown? It's like how Amber Heard ruined Aquaman, and how the Rock is currently being blamed for ruining Shazam because even though Black Adam is Shazam's main villain, The Rock refuses to appear in the Shazam movies. The flash has Ezra a child molesting kidnapper. Justice league tried to hide the racism issues, and it backfired with racism AND sexism issues.
I even learned in the newest version shazam comic book the woke had wonder woman sleep with Shazam. That is a child who's superpower is becoming an adult. I remember DC couldn't keep artists back then, but I never paid attention to why.
Don't forget the comic universes have restarted at least twice. Many of the things I know, are no longer true.
Pretty good breakdown for the DC/Shazam stuff.
i dont really pay attention to comic universes, i never got into them as a kid. But they should die in cinema. I know they are big money makers and what not since the whole Avengers series came about, but they are just awful. Who wants to watch a movie that has a 40 minute CGI fight scene where the good guys win every time, for however many Avengers movies there are.... 11? Some have two 40 minute fight scenes.
I liked most of those. A few of the Men were very bad. But, a few were good, and a few were comic book accurate.
Films have mostly fallen off because of lack of merit...
only the best people used to make movies... yah you had some nepotism .. but the greats were always individualistic and creative... and it didnt matter if you were a jew or christan or whatever... the point of film making was to "find the truth"
now its just propaganda... thats why no one watches movies during the hitler and stalin eras ... those movies sucked... narrow minded and no truth to them.. just "shlock"
but to sum it up.. talent .. creativity.. and lack of truth is why movies/tv sucks now..
its all brainwashing white noise with no merit.
I just linked what happen. Here's one so you don't have to look for it.
