Then you are here to make the difference that needs to be done.
Never quit. Did Jesus quit? Certainly he withstood more than us combined.
The path of the servant of God is never easy. I am telling you this because of your username, not because I am the perfect soldier of God... I am far from it.
But you only lose the fight when you quit it. I have been banned, silenced, muted, etc. I still come back to this place. Not because the users or mods deserve it. But because I believe in God that will make the terrible - better.
Your actions and your involvement are not for nothing. Let the nasty be nasty, isn't Jesus telling us to pray for them. I find it difficult sometimes... but I just have to meditate on it. When you relax and think on this problem, you are soon released from your initial anger and come back with Hope. Just. Don't. Quit.
Even if people here are too egotistic to see another view - this is not the only place. Believe in the Lord and Never Quit! God will reimburse you in more ways that you can think of. Certainly, this place needs more people like you!
You asked whether Jesus quit. I am certainly in no position to cast any stones, nor would I in this case, but I think we can recognize that, yes, at some point it appears he decided to hang it up.
His followers would have fought to protect him and his message, of course. Even without that, he could have easily escaped Jerusalem and gone on to spread his teachings many other places. He declined both of these options.
Everyone is going to give their own reason for why he did that, almost all of them simply parroting what someone else has said about it. They may even just deny that he did it all.
The reason I bring all this up is that, to the very small extent to which I have tried to spread the truth, even truths that seem quite plain to me, I have found that very, very few are interested in the truth. So you can bang your head against a brick wall because there really is a non-zero chance you're going to bash it down, but after a while you get tired of it.
I recall what Jesus Himself said when he was talking about "ask and it shall be given you". People think it's a statement about God's generosity, but there's a subtle subtext that is universally missed: You see, what is stated is that a person has to ask, or seek, or knock. It doesn't happen automatically.
So look around and ask yourself, how many people do you really see asking, or seeking, or knocking?
Speaking of Jesus Christ, 2023 years later Jews still deny Him and still unapologetic for murdering Him
