a) choosing want tempts one to ignore need.

b) ignorance deceives ones perception (need) with suggestion (want).

Consenting to suggested "the" aka THE-ISM tempts one to ignore perceivable WORLD (whole). Why? Because suggestion by partials (fiction) comes after perception of whole (reality).

Everything (whole) is perceivable before anyone (partial) can shape any suggestion within.
