Anyone notice the level of response to the industrial accident in East Palestine being blown way out of proportion, and the FUD being cranked up to 11? Anyone surfing new on TD will notice that train posts are getting 4-5 up votes instantly. The train posts are so numerous that they're drowning out everything else.

I think you're missing the mark on this one. They're telling residents that it's safe when clearly it's not. They're not being honest about the cause not the consequences.

I honestly was under the impression it's bc most ppl just found out yesterday. It was blown on the 6th, Dewine said they could go back the 8th. Ppl are going nuts bc the pics they are seeing from a week ago, they think are present right now. This past week I'd see one or two posts in the thread, I'd have to look all over for new stuff. I saw ppl IN OHIO posting yesterday "OMG, I'm freaking out am I safe" ...PPL should have said, well it happened a week ago, if your not safe it's too late. No matter what is really going on, the people of that town are going to get horrific cancer cases and that is a travesty. It's always the innocent populace that takes the damage.
I think the other train posts are noise, the Ohio shit seems actually bad.
Not only that, but they're also instantly downvoting any attempts to open their eyes to what's happening to them.
You know, falling for the same manipulation tactics they come to boards like this to tell other people to not fall for.
And then they keep on escalating the frenzy themselves, virtually assisting in the manipulation:
