I ahould have recognized obvious (and common) anti-irish propaganda when i saw it. She was a media scapegoat, probably for some parasite that entered (was introduced to) the food or water supply.
Dude it was the same with the Black Plague most likely. Someone on here or Reddit posted a book from I think Denmark from the 1400s, and doctors did the best they could to spread the plague, not diminish it.

This scamdemic may have been played out many times over. And gentile white people were probably blamed most of the time.
