Didn't we send all of our weapons to Ukraine?
no, you retard. what was sent was old surplus stuff.
Good to know. So we don't have surplus now, or just old surplus? How old is old? I've noticed these definitions change depending on who's using them.
There is still plenty of gear from decades of cold war. The US are equipped to fight two major wars at once.
The is isn't even putting a dent in.
That makes sense. I can't imagine we would deplete decades of weapons in less than a year.
I am not a fan of the US but there isn't really anything even close to comparable to the US' military power. Russia is getting held back and partially defeated with modern intelligence and decades old weapons tech.
It's quiet amazing. Nobody really predicted this.
I was reading some estimates that put their territorial defense in the 2 wk to 3 mo range depending upon how good they do at preventing landing craft. Really their ability to land troops is fairly poor and focusing defense on this could turn it into a long term aerial slug fest where our pacific fleet could participate and protract a costly engagement
So much really depends on how much China's hypersonic missiles are real or hype.
This is what I am warning about 24/7 because NOBODY thought this is even possible.
If one day President Choi gets assassinated, I hope everyone just turn off the TV, block everything on social media that proposes war on China for Taiwan and never look back again.
I don't care if it's Gab or Odysee because there will be LOTS of people advocating WW3 by that time.
Yep, decent take on it.
The reality is nobody has the means to project the required power any further than their neighbour for any respectable duration.
Depends, Chinaman, on a lot of things. The US was unprepared for an attack on Pearl Harbor as well. But, the US really didn't want to win in Afghanistan, or commit to win that it.
That's not what the article says you fucking liar
