Everyone here knows what controlled opposition is, and most of us here already know what wedge issues are.
We’re all very aware of how propaganda works, especially when it comes to the left… but when it comes to the right… people miss stuff.
One of the key tactics used is divide and conquer, where they will take up an issue that you AGREE with them on, and try to get you angry and riled up, but in a way that gets ultimately directed towards the other side (divide and conquer).
The truth is that nothing will change politically unless you are able to unite with those you have irreconcilable differences of opinions with on social issues.
The conspiracy community thinks they’re immune to this… but they get played like a fiddle by controlled opposition like tucker Carlson.
Controlled opposition isn’t obsessed with trans issues just for fun… they do it because they know you agree with them, and will actively push a social wedge issue (divide and conquer) because of your heightened emotions on this topic.
They do the exact same thing with climate change. There is an agenda to exploit climate change and push in authoritarianism… but part of that plan is using it as a wedge issue to push division. In other words, they want you out there tweeting #groomer and attacking liberals who think the climate is changing.
They draw the divisional battle lines, and then feed you the emotionally charged material until you go out and fight your fellow citizen for them.
You can just end the sentence there.
Translation: nothing will happen (in a way that it can never happen) unless you do something that is physically impossible.
