I don't see any technical problems implementing UBI without digital ID at all. Some taxpayer number or SSN in case of USA will be more than enough to do everything connected to UBI, including social score crap.
I'm much more concerned about smartphones with IOS and Android that are already widespread and fully adopted by public than that Digital ID crap.
How exactly Digital ID is necessary to implement cashless society? You already can't create anonymous bank account, f.e. and from other side, why whould you check Digital ID of a person who will pay you in cash of whatever form?

I have nothing against resisting Digital ID, there are a lot of reasons to do it.
But I don't see any technical connection between Digital ID, UBI and cashless society. Fact that TPTB want them all to be implemented does not mean that one thing is necessary to implement another.

In this example it is obvious for me, that cashless society could be easily implemented regardless of implementing Digital ID. UBI is also could be easily implemented regardless of implementing of cashless society or Digital ID. Also, Digital ID does not inevitably mean UBI and cashless society. If I was TPTB, I will not do anything with cash usage to keep the herd calm. I will just use Digital ID (or any other ID, like SSN or whatever) to control cash, making impossible to withdraw or pay to any officialy registered business without showing ID. And I will not care at all if some tiny part of cash will circulate uncontrolled. If people use cash I print and can't spend it for usual things without ID, it is more than enough for me to have full control over them.
