No, he is conniving. He thought he had persuaded her to be with him through a type of power he thought he had. I don't like that he is suffering emotional pain from this, since that pain hurts regardless of who has it, but he likely tried to persuade her as well and I highly doubt it was 'love' and most likely a power play or lustful actions. He wasn't heart broken, he was emabarrased and perhaps a bit ashamed of himself for getting played whilst thinking he was playing.
Scott always makes qualified statements, so even here he is not wrong. A vaccine that did all that does sound like good news, the trick then being that it ended up not being true. He also said he got vaxxed to get laid on vacation, which also sounds pretty honest.
People still think vaccines work? Maybe going to TWTR personalities for personal medical decisions isn’t the best idea.
