I spent a lot of time trying to put myself into trance and do self hypnosis.
I felt like it never worked.
Randomly, I had the opportunity to participate in a shamanic ceremony. After observing, it finally occurred to me that I didn't recognize the sensation of falling into trance because it was so familiar to me. I spent most of my life in trance and easily slipped into it regularly. That was a huge game changer for me, the way I viewed trance and my life.
I think most 'conspiracy theorists' are generally not neurotypicals, so different things allow us to enter trance. And perhaps we are not in trance while we observe the actions of normies/NPCs reacting to social cues and in their trance. That might be why we view them as sheeple.
Next time you watch a 'so satisfying' video, try to observe how your brain and mental state is reacting.
lol when I commuted it was on a sport bike. definitely not in a trance-like state.
agree with the thesis. most people are in a trance, and they get angry if you disrupt it in any way.
there's more than one type of trance. the right kind lets you blast through physical labor or repetitious tasks at a high level of workmanship. "in the zone" so to speak.
I think that one of the biggest secrets of the world, one that "They" depend on, is that the vast majority of humanity from the very beginning has been in a trance state.
To be more specific, though, they are not "in a trance", but their unconscious mental state is their natural state of being. I have long guessed about 80% of the population is in this state and incapable of any other. I also guess that a further 15% is capable of fully conscious thought, but all the modern methodologies are used to keep them in a trance state. If you're awake and have ever wondered why so few people seem to think about things the way you do, now you know.
For anyone who was paying attention when the "NPC" meme made the rounds about three years ago and witnessed the severe backlash, that was because "They" do not want the awake to realize the true state of affairs.

That sounds like it would be an interesting thread! I will look into it, thanks :)
Well, I wanted to do things like enjoy getting up early, be more motivated, etc. Love spinach.
I have seen that hypnosis can work when done by professionals. My boss thought she was a chicken and was so embarrassed afterwards.
It's just the power of habit. Do it enough and you'll get used to it.

That's a good point. In the zone or flow state can be beneficial.

Not so much easy to fool as more open to wonder and curiosity and trying to empathize with the photo and put yourself there is a trance in itself.
a lot of food closes your third eye as well. The humans these days are barely even human anymore
