Yep. Crypto opened the door to gpu brute force attacks. There's no such thing as "password will take a billion years to crack" anymore. Our technology grew to specifically tackle this.
Signal = NSA honeytrap.
Silicon Valley E2E DMs = straight to NSA server farms unencrypted FOREVER (to be used against you in the coming social credit score calcs)
ONly fucking retards believe in Signal, Twatter or Musk.
If you're really about it your main objective to be to destroy the phone in your hand not to cuddle up to it more
re: Signal, I hear good things but I don' like anything that REQUIRES a mobile app.
Though I generally admire and support Elon's efforts, I feel like Signal is a CIA honeypot.
A few things - Signal is the only app that has had full 3rd party code audits. That being said, they create the public/private keypair and can almost certainly decrypt anything. The only benefit is it does encrypt the communication in transit so at least your ISP and other service providers can't read your messages in plaintext like they can with regular SMS.
The thing to remember is every single mobile device is backdoored at a hardware level due to all the chips being made in China. Almost certainly at the behest of uncle Sam.
VPN etc is a false sense of security. EVERYTHING you do online is permanently recorded. I know because this is literally my entire lifes work, I've been working in tech since I was 13.
