I've been looking into the psychology and neurology of 'conspiracy theorists'. If anyone else is interested, it appears that there is a strong link between what is called Oppositional Definate Disorder (resistance to authority) and ADHD. ADHD meds also treat (blunt) ODD. (youtu.be)

This ODD bullshit was added to the DSM-V to easily label and contain threats to tyrannical government.

If I were interested in preventing resistance to authority, I would be studying chemicals that also treat ADHD.

This is a longer video so most of you will tldr, but if anyone is interested he is an ADHD brain expert because his brother had ADHD and died so he studied the disorder.

There is also a connection between the above and emotional disregulation, autism, and connective tissue disorders such as hypermobility. Which makes sense.

They have pathologized the desire to exercise free will. Resistance to authority is a disorder? Is there any consideration for whether the authority is legitimate?

Also completely lost, apparently, is the notion that human beings are endowed by nature or by God with certain inalienable rights. Or perhaps that we simply exist in a state of nature on top of which has been placed several layers of artificial bullshit, and at the end of the day it is really just force or the threat thereof which determines who gets to wear the white labcoat of "authority".

The chillingly rare act of telling an "authority" figure to go fuck themselves is not always just the angst-ridden temper tantrum of a rebellious teenager. In many cases it is an open acknowledgment of the true nature of existence.

Your post is an example of reification. https://academic.oup.com/book/25042/chapter-abstract/189123222?redirectedFrom=fulltext

That make sense. They are both fictional/contrived maladies with no rigorous objective (quantitative; biochemical or otherwise) definition and both roughly aspects/“symptoms” of youth.

oppositional defiant disorder (resistance to authority).

a) living within the process of dying doesn't represent contrary to direction (opposite), but temporary within (life) the momentum of ongoing motion (inception towards death), hence being directed by; while resisting.

b) suggested defiance (against others) ignores that living within the process of dying implies the struggle to sustain self (living) within temptation (dying).

c) those who ignore being temporary chaos (living) struggling to sustain self within the ongoing natural order (process of dying) can be tempted to disorder themselves.

d) the process of dying represents the perceivable author; living represents the authorized resistance aka the imitators adapting to perceivable inspiration as to sustain self.

ADHD (trouble paying attention, controlling impulsive behaviors (may act without thinking about what the result will be), and in some cases, are overly active.)

a) suggested information tempts one to ignore perceivable inspiration, hence the trouble to pay attention.

b) suggested progressivism (outcome/result orientation) tempts one to ignore the need to resist perceivable origin, hence ignoring the impelling force (impulse) that is the process of dying aka that which moves life from inception towards death.

c) those who ignore to "react" to perceivable; while consenting to suggested, are being moved by the enacting system with less resistance, hence the "overlay active" behavior.

tl;dr...the few suggest the inversion of perceivable. They suggest words (affixed meaning) as the inversion of perceivable sound (predefined impression aka inspiration for adaptation).

what is called

Aka what the few suggest perceivable means, which when consented to, tempts the many to ignore perceivable for suggested.
