First, let me say that I simply do not believe they actually feel any personal guilt, because subconsciously they know they aren't responsible. Aside from virtue-signalling, where do we ever see them taking personal responsibility? Is there even one of them that said something like, "During all this Ye furor, I found out that Adidas was founded by Nazis. I love their shoes, but no more Adidas for me at least until they admit that, and that they were hypocrites about Ye."

The real problem from these people, though, is that they subconsciously have declared the collective guilt of others, then use it consciously to justify enforcing their will against them. Hey, it's not immoral coercion, it's highly moral punishment of the guilty, right?
