gothic architecture is very interesting. I could be wrong but from my personal research it seems to have evolved from old Celtic architecture from 1000+ years.
history's so weird, if you trace back royal linages and family lines nearly all end up coming from a large singular family of royals (ancient Britain/UK) that ruler all of Europe.
i think these magnificent old buildings were once old castles of a lost or forgotten time (circa 600AD-1100AD)
something happened though and changed the status quo. some people think a disaster that caused mass migration, some people attribute this to the tartarira myth.
i dont know what happened but I do know it was big. at this time (1200-900 years ago) the world changed radically. ancient Britain was completely reshaped, the roman catholic church rose up, the crusades happened, the golden horde appeared and we lost all the advanced cultures from mexico and peru all the way up to iceland and greenland.

Basically, the Stone of Scone / Destiny has been used since ancient times to crown the Kings and Queens - first of Ireland then of Scotland then of England (I think William the Bastard stole it but it might have been someone else).
The Stone is said to have come from Egypt and was Jacob's pillow. So the hidden knowledge from the Bible or whatever went to Ireland and Britain.
Queen Elizabeth 2 was not crowned on the real Stone. The current one is a fake as it was stolen by Scottish nationalists and replaced in the 1900s. Not conspiracy, literal fact. Before the Stone was stolen is was described as a completely different size and type and Stone. When it was returned it was smaller and made out of Stone local to Scotland.
The Stone was more priceless than the crown jewels during ww2, it had to be protected above all treasures.
After the imposter Stone was returned to the English, they held onto it for a while. But in recent years they let the Scottish have possession of it again, except for Coronations. Probably because it's fake. So they will bring it out for Charles to be Coronated, but he will not be the true king as it is a fake.
In the past, Royalty was said to rule by Divine right, by God's Will. And perhaps that is how Britiain ruled the world. But having lost the annointed Stone, they are just a corporation or Firm (as they call themselves now).
Jacob's pillow was annointed and there was some kind of agreement between him and God/angels. I forget what happened as I have never read the Bible.
(I think the Rothschilds bred Queen Victoria and inserted the bleeding disease into all European royal families. If you look at the heredity of the disease. But this is just my theory).
I don't think the current royals still have the old royal bloodline, but at least they probably had the Stone of Destiny. Now they don't.
You can also look at the Coat of Arms and names and relate various nations to different ancient tribes. I think Ireland was partly Tribe of Dan.

(Note there is also a theory that the Scottish monks hid the true Stone and presumably some knowledge from the invading English so maybe the English never had the real annointed Stone. I don't know).

have you heard about the Gaelic/ Hebrew connection? apparently they are very similar. A theory iv came across was that the Hebrew bible might have been written by Irish or Scottish druids and spread over Europe during the dark ages
Yeah, I am not a language expert, but from what I remember, the unique way that some letters/sounds are pronounced is the same and the grammer/sentence structure the same. I can't remember if it was Welsh or Gaelic, though.
Yiu can also trace the frequency of Rh- blood in Irish people and Jewish.
It could have been that the modern Jews deliberately married into Rh- as most Preaidents and royals have been Rh- (a rare, recessive blood type).

People loved their nation, or feared it, but they employed people, artisans, stone masons, knowledge passed down generationally by apprenticeship and by guild. They worked much harder and with their hands, instead of crappier automated machines that cannot sculpt and cannot carve, but can make these other tunnels, and skyscrapers and concrete tenements. Production crafted specific molds and employed dedicated tradesman from guilds. They ruled with ironclad resolve to achieve what machines cannot. Machines make it easier until working that stone in the same methods becomes more of a lost art. Where today, despite some functionality. How long does it take to make a stone mason today. They really don't exist on the scale they did then. Where more was stone and wood then. It goes for much of that World then, everything made by hand, or by hands creating everything. Replaced by machines using less hands and making things that don't last.

Most of it was killed off in the World Wars. Replaced by automation and corporation. Yes there are still dedicated studies today, except by being high demand, faster replaces it with something breakable, and does not last. It isn't cost effective. Somebody else will invest and create something even uglier.

If you like weird af conspiracy rabbit holes, this video covers the original people who built these structures, the relatively recent massive population of orphans, the 'mud flood' that made todays buildings have underground doors/windows, and more. Just when you think you've seen it all, it gets even
craziermore theoretical.You should also take a step back and wonder why architects and historians aren't asking exactly the same question, or are satisfied repeating trite, obviously incorrect "explanations".
I would suggest the conclusion is that the forces responsible for the destruction of the society that created these structures all across the globe does not want us consciously aware of that destruction.
Further, the fact that the silence and obfuscation persists to this day is evidence that the same forces of destruction just mentioned are active to this day.
History has been entirely rewritten. People have slowly been discovering the truth of our past, largely stemming from discrepancies like this.
