First step if you’re an iPhone user (I need it for work unfortunately) is to delete the Apple News App. This one simple step has helped me immensely. Apple News is designed to keep you in fear, to entertain you, and to act as a thought police. Delete that app!!!!
best thing is to get rid of your iphone, go get an android phone and basically never use google stuff on it nor login to a google account on it. you can also uninstall google shit with software that's around.
Well of course. Humans have made it through a lot of cataclysmic and mass-death events. This won't be different. But "some" of us making it through isn't that encouraging in the shorter term

We live in a medium sized town (no big buildings or anything, just suburban style town, almost all white), but we are within a days walk of the nearest city (small/medium sized city with some big buildings). We are moving at the end of the month to a place with a lot fewer people per square mile anywhere nearby, and a lot fewer people that would want to harm us in the event of a Civil War.
Balkanization is inevitable, do not be left behind enemy lines. Even though there is hope, there is much more hope for anybody who gets to the demilitarized zone before it gets hot out. If you're within 20 miles of more than 100k people that are drastically different than you, beware that they will eventually be given weapons of war and turned against you, Rwanda-style.
