Thatcher, Blair, May, Johnson...they all said the same thing? Receipts or it didn't happen.

Blair upgraded Trident

Mrs. Thatcher

The defence of the realm transcends all other issues. It is the foremost responsibility of any Government and any Prime Minister.

For forty years, every Government of this country of every political persuasion has understood the need for strong defences.

— By maintaining and modernising Britain’s independent nuclear deterrent.

[Britain's nuclear] weapons and bases: are vital, not only for Britain’s defence, but for the defence of the entire Atlantic Alliance.

For you cannot deter, with conventional weapons, an enemy which has, and could threaten to use, nuclear weapons.

Exposed to the threat of nuclear blackmail, there would be no option but surrender.

I understand the MAD doctrine. I appreciate what it represents. No one uses them.

But to openly, publicly state that she will not hesitate to abandon MAD, go mad, and push That button? It's maniacal and insane.

Psycho circus.
