This language is typically used to warn you of when checks will clear and actions will be taken.
At no point have you presented an argument as to how this is used against someone.
No, the langues is designed to tell you that it will take LONGER. It is a warning based on banking practices.
"5 business days"
"one week or longer for holidays?"
One of these phrases is half the length.
