Yes if your so concerned about Human Rights in China why not say something about that? At least you can be skewed as a hypocrite.

Whatever suggested narrative the many are reasoning about (want vs not want; true vs false; believing vs not believing; good vs bad etc.)...the few are contradicting from both sides as to keep the many reasoning against each other.
This is called talmudic reasoning.
