If you have hardware (smartphone) in your hands, you could hack any software running on that hardware. It could be tricky, but it is possible with enough effort. And you will be able to be anyone you wish for government and corporations. Or even create non-existent identities that will look perfectly OK for government and corporations.
Today, making fake ID is tricky, you inevitably have to interact with third-party to do it. Digital ID could make that as simple as pressing few buttons.
