For anyone who has watched Ukraine since Russia's invasion of Crimea in 2014, war crimes by the Ukrainian government against its own people is not particularly new. The fact that Amnesty International is NOW bringing this to light makes me think that Ukraine is now a pawn against Russia that the west will soon abandon. The war is not going well for Ukraine, despite the billions worth of weapons that NATO has gifted them. Additionally, in light of the recent accusation by the Russians that the china virus is actually the ukrainian virus, it would make sense as a face saving move for the US, the bulk of NATO muscle, to distance itself from Zelensky.
Call me a naive optimist, but this seems like good news.
Just came across this very bad sign for Ukraine relative to the Western powers. The banner carrier for the Leftist Establishment Narrative, NPR, has been given the green light to mention less-than-complimentary things about Ukraine:
NPR Turns Against Ukraine!
Do not ask for whom the bell tolls, Elensky & Co., it tolls for thee.
Yes. russia already won months ago. the media is just making it look like "glory to ukraine" is going as expected. the eastern regions have been under russian control since april or so
Russia takes Kyev and Odessa.
US abandons the Ukes, creates a domestic falsh flag, blames it on Russia to justify invading Ukraine to try to regain control of it.
Keep an eye on NYC.
if nato or the u.s. seriously set foot in there, it would be game on and that would be that. the u.s. cannot sustain in another full fledged war.
Watch for early September.
Seriously.
How did that work out?
Even what is referred to as Ukraine's war effort I think has got to end soon, weeks or a couple of months at a guess, and I base that on just two data points.
First, the professional army has been annihilated. None of the reinforcements going to the contact line are professional contract soldiers.
Second, in the last wave of mobilization, the casualty rate was 80% before even reaching the front. They were killed, injured, or deserted.
I think this is going to be a case of "slowly, then all at once", but there's no way short of active duty NATO soldiers just up and deploying into Ukraine (in larger numbers than they are already) to extend what has long been a foregone conclusion.
