For anyone who has watched Ukraine since Russia's invasion of Crimea in 2014, war crimes by the Ukrainian government against its own people is not particularly new. The fact that Amnesty International is NOW bringing this to light makes me think that Ukraine is now a pawn against Russia that the west will soon abandon. The war is not going well for Ukraine, despite the billions worth of weapons that NATO has gifted them. Additionally, in light of the recent accusation by the Russians that the china virus is actually the ukrainian virus, it would make sense as a face saving move for the US, the bulk of NATO muscle, to distance itself from Zelensky.
Call me a naive optimist, but this seems like good news.
Just came across this very bad sign for Ukraine relative to the Western powers. The banner carrier for the Leftist Establishment Narrative, NPR, has been given the green light to mention less-than-complimentary things about Ukraine:
