Preppers and conspiracy theorists have a fairly large overlap. That's my guess for why it's here.

Also with what we are seeing, societal collapse or other disasters may soon befall us. At the very least astronomical food prices.

And also bitcoin maximalists.

I was listening to a Texas guy today on the Survival podcast where he was discussing how bitcoin made him start thr Beef initiative.

bitcoin isn't decentralized or a viable currency or a store of value, it's a transparent blockchain so the government can monitor everything you do.

the crypto you're looking for is Monero, which has actual fungibility and has fought over and over to keep asics from centralizing the chain

99% in this forum is not conspiracy.

Just frustration news casting about democrats and the world's elites.

Why don't these people go to win/no new normal I have no clue.

So I just follow the trend.

Virginia gold tobacco (seeds on ebay, the most common strain people seem to recommend) is easy to grow and easy to store for years, I don't even smoke it but I store it as another backup currency as people who do smoke would be looking for it, plus it's organic. One of mine outside right now is over 8ft tall with big elephant leaves and pink trumpet flowers on top, after maybe 90 days. Then takes 4-12 months to cure (just drying by hanging or toss it in a cardboard box and let it sit 5 years, seems easy to store, gets better with age).

High CBD strains of hemp is also a good one since 10's of millions now use CBD oil. You have to take a bit more care with curing and storing hemp though, and it will degrade after 2-4 years. This plant is also more likely to be stolen, and it can be pungent and draw attention, people might think it's high THC.

So lately I go with tobacco since I don't even use it, I just pack it all away for a rainy day. I'd go with alcohol but I'd drink it all and wake up in jail.

Just a few extra options to store away for trading or CBD for medical use, once you have all your vegetables going.

PO TA TOES

Also, chickens. Eggs are amazing. They eat bugs and pests. And when they stop laying eggs you can send them to the butcher.

Potato famine is nonsense. It really didn't historically happen like that. They starved them out. Literally transported the food out of Ireland causing famine. The potatoes were a historical excuse for what actually occurred.

Probably similar to today. Big huge excuse. The global Ukraine, famine? Prices soaring easier to blame on something. But what's that reality. They cut their own wrists. Because they want to adopt different regulations, supply lines, and structure.

They weren't specifically farming potatoes. It was an excuse. Look into it. The Irish population then was larger than today. It was serfs on agricultural estates. Big estates, manors, castles, feudalism. Okay. Small hiccup. The British pull out. They were the land owners. They shipped all the food out. It triggered mass famine. Not because there wasn't food. They took the food. They even destroyed the food. Grains, livestock, vegetables. The potatoes were a stupid excuse for changing supply lines, laws, and distribution. The population dropped by millions. They starved them out. Better blame the blight instead. Like Ukraine, Russia. An excuse for new regulations, new methods, redistribution, supply lines, and laws.

Everybody knows potatoes aren't a diet. So where did the food go? Above.

This seems a decent guide to start with then customize for personal preferences.

I had a sneak peek at Hunter Biden's garden plan: 1 sweet potato 27 pot plants 2 coca plants 2 meth plants 2 fentanyl plants 2 corn for the big guy. I believe he plans to can his excess.

That's a LOT of canning! Those meth plants are really dodgy, and it really sucks if it flowers and ends up being a bathtub meth plant. Those are dangerous but SUPER to clean your toilet or automobile battery.

I can tell you are wise in the ways of gardening. Probably learned from an ancient Indian in the deserts of Oregon, where they grow cactuses and pine trees and weeds that smell funny when there's a forest fire and the animals go crazy lying around and listening to music and eating munchies.
