keeping one in a perpetual state of hunger...an infantile like of state of need and hunger
a) being one (living) in a perpetual state (dying) isn't about keeping; but about growing while enduring.
b) need cannot be kept; it's want which tempts to keep. Need represents loss (dying); want represents growth (living)...temporary want (living) has to resist ongoing need (dying) to sustain self within.
c) hunger (need) or taste (want)...the former sustains life; the latter tempts towards death.
d) IN'FANT, noun [Latin infans; in and fans, speaking, fari, to speak.] - "in law; a person under the age of twenty one years, who is incapable of making valid contracts". That tempts one to ignore the original contract (natural law) between perceivable (balance) and perceiving (choice) for validation of maturity through choice (suggestion) to choice (consent) contract law with others.
This contract law also represents RELIGON; noun (Latin religo) - "to bind anew"; hence the infant being called a "new" born at birth; while tempting one to ignore the perceivable growth of life since inception. "there's nothing new under the sun" aka inception implies WITHIN PERCEIVABLE.
