Are we sure it doesn't actually say 1939? Not 2039? Cause that would make a lot more sense...
It definitely looks like a Zero in front of the 3. But the first number is hard to see. It almost looks like if it does say 2039 that their are more numbers in front of that, maybe a 5.
It may not be a zero and is some short hand date format or could just be photoshop.
I do that now kinda. I put coins from the year it is in the bottom of footings. Has to be nice and shiny. They demo some concrete, but other concrete is there for many many years, sometimes centuries. That's the beautiful part about footings as well, many times they will tear a house down to the ground and build.a new one on the existing footer. Happens all the time, so my nice, new 2022 quarters coild be hidden for centuries. Not quite the same as you, but I'm not going for deception.
That's why it's a joke
Argentina? New Germany?
Who would say that a piece of metal is proof of a parallel universe?
Is way more likely to be coinage from another universe's future rather than, say, a serial number on a limited mintage collectors medallion.
So, in 2039 they have done away with the practice of ribbed edges on coins?
