As I said in an earlier post, the Dems have ramped up newpaper pieces about Newsom running. He's been groomed for it for a long time anyway. As a WEF Global Leader, he was installed in California and brought up the ranks as mayor then gov. Newsom is a polished liar which is one reason they will make him a candidate.
As for the quote 'Newsom “came through the recall election, and he’s doing a pretty good job as governor,” ' the reality is he's an absolutely crappy Democrat administrator. Example: instead of dealing with the gas crisis by temporarily removing the obscene 51 cent a gallon state gas tax, he plans to give residents bailout checks in late October, taking the money straight from the general funds. In other words the Democrat idea of take from one of our pockets to put in the other pocket to buy votes for the Dems just in time for the election. Pure slime.
It does not make sense for Big Mike at all. The elections are fixed so all the left needs is someone with enough charisma to be a plausible winner.
Big Mike gets invites to all the fun things like gala balls and celebrity parties, and important meetings like Davos, so why bother with all the boring duties of VP when you have enough money and great connections to live an easy life into retirement without the hard work?
