I think that video is a fake. If you open up both versions, and toggle, you will see that they are an exact copy aside from the braces, including the reflection in her glasses. No actor and film crew can shoot the same scene that exact, which means it's post work. And back then, it would have needed to have been done at great expense.
You seemed to have taken an interest in something, As I myself often find myself, while browsing someone's user history. That or you are extremely bored. Might I ask, how or why you have ended up in a 4 months old replies thread?
I wondered why I had not heared anything about the Mandela effect lately.
So I did a search in Conspiracy for Mandela.
Dolly is one of the effects that I feel very sure about. And a video showing the braces?? I know it was silly to reply but I then though it would be fun to get a reply on a message from 4 month old comment.
Stalk away. There is no shame is checking backgrounds to ensure the people you are interacting with are honest, and truthful to the character that they are presenting themselves as. In fact it used to be encouraged on reddit, before it became a narrative control device. It's called investigating, and not stalking, as that word implies sexual interest, or other nefarious deeds.
So, back to the topic at hand. What have you concluded of the Mandela Effect? Any ideas?
Well DUH, of course the later whited teeth version was a frame-edited copy of the braces one, where they painted white on the teeth framewise. They didn't reshoot the entire scene to make it. They simply scanned a set of frames in and digitally edited. That technology has been around in the movie industry now for decades.
As for the other way around, if the braces were a fake creation made from a white teeth original, no; the detail on the braces shows reflections off the metal that are exact and match the scene light sources. If you zoom in on still frames of the teeth it is clear the light is exactly natural and the braces are not painted on. It would take a lot of artist effort to fake the braces.
You didn't digitally edit things in the 80's. And from an editing point of view, I can assure you it's easier to add in braces, that are not prone to the uncanny valley effect, since they are not a natural part of the human body.

I know this is really old but this is an edited clip with "Romthiryt VFX".

No stalking involved.

I HAVE a VHS tape of Moonraker put out in the early 1980s and it has the braces that I well remember. With great regret, I have to say piss off.
And I have 5 .pngs of braces on this system alone for editing. And I've never once needed to edit braces onto an image.
And I say, go get a step ladder and jump up my butt.
