Well, if only population size of a country meant anything, and by what metric, China, should it?
G7 is the group of major, highly developed industrial nations, which, although I love Brazil, it's not. It's almost 3rd world. China, for all it's (untrustworthy) economic statistics, is still not a developed county akin to say, England.
Interesting though.
china is catching up VERY VERY QUICKLY in military might to the u.s. they are also modernizing their systems along with russia like crazy in the past 10 years. it's not looking good for us at all....
True, but then again, if we didn't meddle so much in foreign countries, we could have a military 1/2 its current size and still adequately defend our nation.
So far, China has only been able to copy the West's ideas. They haven't shown to be able to innovate 'the next step' in warfare.
China can catch up, but can't surpass, due to a lack of creativity within their power structure.
It's similar to North Korea, who is about 70 years late in creating nukes. Yeah, you've got them, but the rest of us have moved on to better things.
lol, Mad Kalak, I expect more from you. So, if you keep reviewing the respective nations of brics, you find all the money, all the resources and all the might.
So keep on thinking the so called 'great 7' is anything other than a slave scam.
Don't try that stuff where you say you expect more out of someone. They program bots to say that shit.
Resources, yes sure. Hell, they kicked Russia out, it was the G8 at one time, and they are wealthier in terms of resources than most of the planet. But Brazil isn't France, ya know? At least not yet anyway. Maybe in the future, France will fail and Brazil will ascend.
An it's not "great" its "group". Sure, they take advantage of other nations, never said they didn't.
I can try whatever I like, it is part of the language and a normal euphemism that goes back much further than programmed chat bots. I have read enough of your comments to come to this state of belief.
You are proclaiming some declaration of their greatness so I went with great.
All the so called g7 nations are basically in complete peril on many fronts.
You're comfortable sounding like a bot? I figured I'd warn you.
Put on your glasses. I never said they were "great". You're debating what you want to debate, rather than what I said. They have like 40% of the world's economy, and that means something.
Yes, they are in peril, as I indicated with the "for now" ellipses.
Besides, do you have a problem with, say nation with common interests voluntarily creating associations with each other?
The G7 that are circling the toilet bowl? The ones that are in a self induced energy crisis? The ones that are thing to lose to Russia, despite sending billions to Ukraine? The ones with their economies crumbling?
Yes, empires past their prime are terrifying... LMAO
I'm not denying your points. England has been in decline since the 1950s, but they are still England. Collectively, the G7 have about 40% of the worlds economy, for now at least.
Anyway, due to national IQ differences (for now at least) the southern hemisphere will always be a shit-show.
Have you ever been to China? (Honest question).
I was there in 2018 and I was blown away; people think it's 3rd world, and in some ways it still is (mostly because things like water and sewer have not kept up with the insane level of progress in other areas), but I would consider China to be no less "developed" than other first world countries from a technology stand-point.
Where I live at least, everything (and I mean everything) is made there. Here we couldn't make a toy gun to save ourselves. And we are developed?
Have I been to China? No. Spoken to people who have, and they say outside the major cities, it's still like peasant villages. China is a study in contrasts.
As for why they make cheap widgets in China as opposed to here, it's because it's cheaper. Cheaper labor. Low amounts of regulations, both environmental and safety. Cheaper bribes to government officials. List goes on.
Are we developed? Depends. Are we talking East St. Louis, Appalachia here or Silicon Valley I suppose.
