I was planning on a trip to japan in the early 2000s and one USD bought 96 yen.
In 2008ish a girl I know went to the Eurozone and one Euro was like $1.38 or so.
They fluctuate a lot, Japanese car companies in the US separated a long time ago, so they’ve operated with US bank accounts in dollars... but if you could buy a new Japanese car in Yen in the US, or had a way to ship it over for free, it’d be like 30% cheaper.
1.00 US Dollar = 0.94959688 Euros
1.00 US Dollar = 130.45309 Japanese Yen
This is fucking insane numbers... I might buy some physical mxpesos in case i have to run for the border...
A bus ride…. And a tentacle.
