Like one of the first thing you do is prevent enemy lines of communication. The first is normally halt aerial threats. Much harder with Sat phones, and Sats. But at this stage shouldn't they be fired on, if they're providing that coverage? At the very least jammed. It would mean blackouts by jammers, and because they're disconnected
