From the sound perspective...changing frequency of adaptation to perceived sound, can be shaped in accordance to resonance (need) or dissonance (want) to sound. The parasitic few likely use a resonating frequency to make songs "catchy"; hence breaking music down to very short; repetitive shapes; while adding dissonance to it (changes of frequency; suggested symbolism; idolatry and revisionist rhetoric for deception).

So you resonate with a repetitive frequency of an "earworm"; while the rest of the song is tempting you with dissonance. You can also see this with churches and temples...perceivable beauty to lure towards suggested ugliness. Same with the parasitic few utilizing ancient architecture for prisons; asylums; post-offices; government structures; military infrastructure etc. They can only suggest (want) withing perceivable (need); the can only suggest imbalance (want vs not want) from within balance (need/want). They have to adhere to natural law (balance to choice) to be able to exploit it with contract law (choice to choice).
