Going by how twitter was run, this sounds true.

The guy who's public biography is a total fabrication & who is actively working to connect your brain to a network of low-orbit satellites was "turned"? Please, do elaborate.
This is an instance where "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" doesn't apply.
He, like Trump, is perfectly capable of driving liberal brain damage to complete madness while also marching further toward the singularity.
Even if he is, that doesn't change the trajectory of society, and at the very least breaking the spirit of the commie masses is a worthwhile result.
Are you a liberal? Try to resist, brother!
When asked to elaborate on something clearly asinine
As strong assertions came before the request and he didn't seem to be familiar with the idea of "turning", I was not quite certain the request was other than rhetorical flourish.
Also I'm not sure you know the definition of the word "asinine". Also I'm not certain you're using the idea of quoting quite correctly. Otherwise, thanks for your input!
Ad hominem retort and nothing else, weak :/
Are you saying being a liberal is a bad thing? Nevermind. I shall in the future endeavor to follow the model of your own contribution here and nothing else. strong :/
I agree we can't get too excited about musk, he'll probably sell out like trump, still I hope for the best who knows.
Unlike Trump, I think Elon's (or rather, the people behind him) actually playing chess. Every move he makes is nothing short of marketing brilliance, but the actions themselves pave way to plunge us further into an irrecoverable technological hellscape.
He's the perfect trojan horse. His would-be detractors are too pre-occupied with his edgy antics to see what he's actually laying the foundation for. I'd loooove to be wrong, but his track record is too long.
he might be getting set up as the next trump, a famous rich guy who becomes president who then sells out
