I would like to see a credible claim that there was ever more than one. While it is true that Chinese agents will opportunistically slurp or steal devices for commercial purposes, there is no good evidence that I have seen that this has happened in this case.
It's ironic, but citizen investigation should be about wrongdoing in relation to governmental affairs and physically abusing children. Groups could create "clean versions" of the disk images with illegal pornography removed.
My take on this is that if there is truly a lot of that content, suppressing it is making it easier for pedophilia to thrive. I don't want to see any of that shit, but if it mass awakens people in an undeniable way, show it! I don't need to see it to know, but many people do.
