I Know it Has Been Done to Death But. Moon Landing Was Faked, Right?

I've heard every angle of this one. What's the best arguments either way? How can I be sure what's actually original video/pictures these days and what has been edited?

Working from memory, a few of the details that stuck in my mind were:

The spent shell casing ended up on top of the gun. (That alone sealed it for me.)
That particular model of handgun was noted for reliability, but no new round was chambered.
His wife said she thought the sound was a book falling. (You'd wet your pants if a .45 went off unexpectedly in your house.)
His son told the police that after he found hid dad, he went outside and fired a shotgun in the air. (Sounds like he was chasing someone off.)
HST had said he was working on 9/11 and the White House call boys stories.

I have had the pleasure of firing one. It is a hand cannon. Even the entire encyclopedia falling couldn't make that sound. She may have been describing a "silenced" shot...
