Humans Infected With 'Mind-Altering' Parasite Seen as More Attractive (www.realclearscience.com)

However, a simpler explanation for the association is that attractive people are more likely to contract T. gondii as they might engage in more sexual activity. (T. gondii can be transmitted sexually.) The researchers did find that Toxoplasma-positive subjects reported having more sexual partners.

I still don't think parasites are good. They also talked about cysts developing in the brain from this parasite.

Which might be why they came down so hard on ivermectin.

One side effect is headaches, which could be its action against Toxoplasmosis and God knows whatever other parasites are floating around up in the old noggin.

I know someone who took it and got headaches, so maybe I'll contact them and see if they've seen any difference.

One thing that's interesting is that shrooms often give people headaches as well, but many people (including me) will attest to them absolutely obliterating migraines. Like for a long time after (years). And I drink tons of coffee and smoke.

Regressed areas of the brain seal themselves off...much like cysts would. Having a "free-flowing" brain is probably pretty important.

"T. gondii infection may produce changes in facial symmetry of its hosts through changes in endocrinological variables such as testosterone levels,"

This can also be explained by the parasite spreading by sexual contact. Then people who are more attractive would be more likely to get infected.

The incel cope is the notion that a parasite can make you better-looking.
