Man, I was just looking at it, and I never knew Semitic included Phoenicians!
I mean, the Jews have tried to cover up their misdeeds (unsuccessfully), but it's pretty well known the Phoenicians were awful as well.
Perhaps "antisemitic" simply means opposed to child sacrifice. So the next time someone tries to use that "slur" against me, I'm just going to say that yes, I am opposed to MIddle Eastern tribes like the Jews and Phoenicians that slaughter children.
I dunno, but it does seem that sacrifice and more explicitly child sacrifice comes mainly from Semitic countries, especially if you include ancient Babylon.
Aren't there warnings to those areas in the Bible? Including Israel?
