It would be different if they were directly hurting humans but I am not going to risk my life for a gucci purse that I don't even get to keep.

I have taken many a shoplifter down long ago. Back in the day store managers were told to use any means possible to stop them. I usually put them on the floor. I got my ass kicked with a frozen Turkey, hung out a car window getting steaks back. Once I saw a nigger couple put steaks under a baby in a stroller. I stopped them and they hauled ass and left me the baby.
There was once a day, about 1990, when Walmart's SLOGAN was 100% Made in USA. They sold guns and ammo before Rosie REEEEE! O'donnell came out of the closet and bitched too. I remember watching her stand-up when she had long hair and was dating men.
I get it but big picture - they are prepping up the intended casualness of chocking out (shoplifting, theft, vandalism) of the remaining small business's still remaining.
