Just thought a little, testing acids is not very scientific, really, because acid just walking around and activates the strips. It really does not use all that antibody stuff "specific to antigen" at all. This will only show that you could make your salina acidic to get a positive result.
More interesting to find some substance that will react with "specific antibodies" and show strips as intended. AFAIK, shrimps have allergen that is antigen to IgG antibody. The IgG antibodies also declared as antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 N protein. May be test srimp juice? It is not acidic and humans could easily eat shrimps before test.
Can you do them on some kind of material that you can observe or monitor for health?
If you had a microscope it would be really helpful. Check out what is in or on the swabs under magnification. And see the results on the test subject... I am curious about this because I know someone who got severely ill immediately after having taken the pcr test
So maybe an earthworm? Or real kombucha that still has living cells? So you can see under a microscope if the pcr test does any damage to the cells immediately or in the days .
cause some real panic and test some fast food. Just imagine the fake headlines now "Big Mac tests positive for covid!" "New Mcdonald-cron variant found in fast food!".
Use sterile gloves
Tap water is obvious. It is chlorinated and should be sterile.
The other would be just any edible item, esp fruit which you can cut open and use the juice : citrus fruit etc?
Third: insects (if you have access to them this time of the year)

Quickly found something to think about - https://fortune.com/2020/07/10/coronavirus-in-food-china-shrimp/
:)
Check "shrimps tested covid" in search engines. Quite a lot of results.
I'm sure you read the packaging, but you have 6 tests to play with!

Ohh OK sorry for the misunderstanding. This will be an interesting experiment :)
My suggestions would have been more suitable for the pcr test. I will think about some better suggestions:)

If it is antigen test, any acid should make them "positive". Including such useful acids like vitamin C or gastric juice. :)
Seriously?
Yep. Checked one made by Leccurate (IIRC) with vinegar.
Should work, yes.
