That can't be right? I was sure there are places underground of more than a mile, possibly up to around 3 miles deep. 5000ft is less than a mile. Not deep drilling.
Curiously why in that video are the neutrino labs so deep? What is that process, is the equipment more dangerous then neutrinos? Seemingly they're situated in quite remote areas, and very deep, the deepest according to the video. Surely it must be anti matter or dark matter they're studying? Except that matter hasn't been proved, it's only theorised.
