14 500 years ago the world was thrown into chaos. the world twisted, the great glaciers were destroyed, the sea rose, land bridges were destroyed, all the maga fauna were lost, billions of creatures starved. and we become isolated and alone in small population pockets. cannibalism and chaos become the norm.
it was a species reset and the only ones left were the strongest most intelligent and versatile hominids. ones who had genes from Neanderthal Denisovan and human.
the cross-breed children of the "old men", or Nephilim as some call them.
some of these ancient populations pockets adapted and moved from the coast and valleys to the safety of mountains. for 2000 years these small pockets lived alone and become so isolated that there gene pool slightly changed resulting in the variations from the left over ancient sub Saharan Africans that were less effected by the great cataclysm that destroyed the great glaciers
instead of the many races of "old time" we had 2 left. small displaced tribes of ancient humans spread across the southern hemisphere and Europe and an even smaller group Nephilim (the isolated remnants of the old races)
11 000 years ago when the seas stop raising and the temperature become stable some of these small population pockets of cross-breed hominids (Nephilim) that survived the chaos, came down from the safely of the mountains of Europe and taught the tribes of ancient Africans the knowledge and teachings that they were able to preserved. they taught them how to build and cut stone again, how to travel the sea like they did before.
early human looked up to them, and in turn they had power over us. some were good and lived with humans as one, but others were currupted by power and ruled over us. they become prophets kings and pharos ..and we become slaves
but even as slaves ancient humans thrived, we grew we spread the global and learned all we could from them and eventually we tired to break free from there rule. but we would never free ourselves completely. the remnants and bloodlines of these corrupt rulers would eventually manifest itself again and again thru out history in different ways. Samaria, ancient Greece, Egypt, Rome, Judaism Islam Christianity, then politicians and celebrities
they live on where ever there has been corrupt leader or leaders ruling over a populace.
The ancients mapped the globe, developed our level of technology and then destroyed themselves....we aren't them. They were larger than us and a few survived their wars. They lived longer lives and as such they slowly died out, we came along after they died and were possibly slaves or workers for them.
We evolved and stole tools and fire and various weapons. We then fought a war and one (these were the giants and titans of mythology / Noah arks etc)
We said we descended (perhaps some cross breeding?) But we never have the tools. So we adopted the last few megaliths that were not wholly destroyed and rebuilt our current civilization.
Along the way, legends passed down and over time we built up our cultures and had only trace memories left due to our much shorter life spans.
