It is a frustrating holding pattern right now, yeah. I’ve been stocking up on supplies since March 2020, just in case things didn’t improve. And they haven’t. Once kids get dragged into this mess, I hope people will have enough common sense to say “enough” but I’ve lost all hope in humanity. At least I know my family and I will be prepared. I’ll go down with the ship once I know my family is taken care of, but it’ll be a hell of a fight if people don’t wake the fuck up.

What happens when they come to take your kid for mandatory Pre-K? You going to go out shooting? Even my brother, as far left as you can get, who never says no to anything, and always takes the easy way out, has said he will not allow his two kids to get the shots. I don't know how firm he is because I'm just a nutty conspiracy theorist and we avoid controversial topics, but I was stunned. This was really, really a bad idea for them.

I know you all think the US is more free than anywhere else because you have guuuurns but, if you ever left the US (other than as part of an occupying army) you'd see that it's not all serfdom and danger overseas. In fact, many look at the US and wonder how you manage to have such violent prisons, how you lock people up for months for shoplifting a bun, how your police blast people away over traffic stops, how you get bankrupted over college or if you get even slightly ill. Not a lot of countries admire your version of freedom you know.
Well, my grocery store is full and I'm free to do what I want. I can go maskless anywhere except hospitals. I can carry a gun anywhere I go so I wont be fucked with by scum. I've got freedom that's not worldwide. Everybody not in a city seems to still be functioning well, and America has a big ass rural community, Big Area Rural Millions. We're still happy.
Out of interest. Do you think that the government will be so blatant as to have a shoot out? Or do you think the people could be more easily conquered by, for example, food and part shortages? If you can't get a part for your truck etc - who would you shoot and what purpose would it serve?
I expect to be crop dusted with fentanyl or nuked. Anything but coming up driveways to collect firearms. Food shortages will kill the world and people who have will be targeted by the havenots. I'm armed for family protection, not shoot the parts guy for not having my fuel pump.
