Why do cultists worship Aleister Crowley when he was basically a failure?

He failed the abramelon ritual or whatever its called, because he didnt want to finish it, then started his own makeshift cult which accomplished nothing and ended with all its members leaving with hardcore mental disorders.

i guess his saying "do what thou wilt" must sound pretty cool to whoever thinks this guy accomplished anything of value.

Your theory is about as hard to swallow

As stated, Crowley was an edge Lord who loved triggering posh evangelists. Literally anyone who is even remotely familiar with his work knows this. It's physically impossible to kill the people that you claim. When you understand he's talking about sperm cells the numbers he throws out make much more sense

When someone talks about wanting to murder children, I’m going to treat them as someone who wants to murder children. I don’t care how edgy they are being.

The claim is a quote about killing millions or billions of children which, as previously stated, is a dry joke about seminal fluid. If you were someone who only heard about Thelma and their cake in passing than you would understand this. You're wilfully ignorant on the subject.
