I disagree with you. Twitter is just the medium. Links are better than screenshots, and screenshots can have links in the comments, but screenshots from Twitter that address relevant topics are better than nothing.
The behavior of some people should be irrelevant in determining our sources of information even if those sources choose to use Twitter as a platform.
That would kill the majority of the traffic here. How else would the users know what opinion to have?
