I order shit on Amazon a lot (yea I know, but if its cheaper there than on manufacturer website or local store, Im not going to pay extra just to stick it to Bezos).
Recently most of my deliveries are delayed, carriers having problems (like one of the packages ended up in IN instead of NJ), and are being shipped from unusual locations (like subscribe and save item that usually ships from their NJ distribution center is being shipped from Texas instead), or outright cancelled order due to "unforseen error"
Anyone else seeing something similar?
I live in a big north east metro area, there no mom and pop retail stores here, so its already detroited. Planning to move out next year
i dont see trump doing all of this lol
A news article notes that the Dollar Store chain is having problems because it cannot get deliveries locally nor from cargo containers from China. It cited a Maine store manager who quit because of stress overload on this.
Also, trucking companies are losing drivers for various reasons including the vax mandate.
Walmart too has some empty shelves due to breakdown of supply.
I talked with a manager at Coca Cola who told me they have slowdown in supply chain and are trying to work with that.
It is estimated there will be some impact on Christmas merchandise over this.
Tighten your belts, America, and keep enough toilet paper to outlast what's coming. The Biden mandate is hurting the economy, but what do the Dems care.
CCP's psyop-war on christmas.
last 2 weeks, china has been experiencing power blackouts cause of CCP chicanery.
supply-chain knock-on effect is like 6-8 weeks delay.
perfect timing.
First, I definitely encourage you to spend money at companies you’d believe in whether local or not. I try to only buy low profit margin items from Amazon (eg lightbulbs, overnight whiteboards). Buying at a farmers market is even better than local stores because you’re building up the sustainable rural core. But, don’t let these guys rip you off either because they will.
Yes to supply issues though really only for things that require cross country transit. I think the compaction is on the freight lines and not the last mile.
There was a short video about how 2 of the 3 port cranes in LA are not being operated. This would indicate that the supply chains are being sabotaged intentionally. By who and for what reason is not obvious.
Yup.
I need to consoooooooom
DAS RITE
Im lazy from consooming, so instead of making a meme, i urge you to visualize it. Two soyjaks pointing template, top text "related to commerce?", bottom text "must poast consoom"
Suggest rotating and panning this meme in your mind for best effect
i do both. i buy on amazon because it's pretty fucking convenient and has deals, AND i buy local, when it's a great local shop with good services, goods, food and all that :)
