Also, the horizon rises to eye level and remains flat, no matter how high up you go. This would be impossible on an globe planet that is continually curving downward and away from you.

If all the luminaries we see in the sky are at vastly different distances from us, over time the closer ones would move faster than the further ones. Heliocentrism claims that our solar system is hurling through space at 800,000 mph. We have records from ancient civilizations of highly accurate star charts. If you run the math, the distance traveled from then and now would be very significant and would undeniably create a parallax effect on the closer stars. Feel free to use the Geneva Bible, it is very similar to the KJV 1611, I have not read the Geneva Bible for myself, so I can not vouch for it. I suggest you use one of the older versions, the older the better, the one that got published in 1557/1560 I think is the correct one. It is a great study Bible, as it got tons of notes in the margin. Problem with the notes is they are not inspired words of God, so in that sense they do not belong in the Testimony from God, but as I said, great for study.
