Google is definitely part of social engineering, but here could be another explanation. We don't name ourselves "white persons". We prefer etnic or national characteristics. It could be bad, that we are not strongly binded to our whiteness and does not feel unity on the base of our skin color. But so it goes. It's hard to imagine that somebody white will leave a comment to a photo like "I'm a white person" or "These white children are so cute!". We don't do that. We don't talk about our whiteness in social media. It is jews and blacks permanently talk about "white persons", so there is nothing strange that search engine will show you the ones who most frequently use the words from your search request.
