I was way more naive back then, but even then I could tell that this shit was horrifically wrong.
check out his archive https://archive.org/details/911/day/20010911 they were blaming bin laden mere hours after the buildings were pulled. Oh, and this is kinda intriguing. Remember the Oboma/Cl1nt0n stuff on FOIA requests?
You can't find the bottom right headline on an internet search because they used the letter "I" instead of the number 1 in the date (you can see for yourself in the image). Very reminiscent though.

The point is, who the fuck cares what the taliban are doing? If the Afghan people have a problem with them, THEY can deal with it. It’s none of the west’s business and we should never have been there.
That's a terrible position. Although once their capacity to harbor terrorists was destroyed, we should have left.
