Should I lie to employer about vaccination status and provide fake card for proof? Or fuck them.
posted 4 years ago by SpicyCoof 4 years ago by SpicyCoof +21 / -0

Really in a bind here, don't want to lose my job. I can easily make the card and fake it but wouldn't I be feeding into the system?

What would you do. Fuck them for fucking me or bullshit them.

Geezus, I'm in government contracting so I don't know how much I'd be able to fight it. Since they're following federal guidelines shit.

Don’t lie. Ask what exemptions exist. If none, ask them to assign liability to themselves as a condition of employment. If they refuse let them know that you believe that to be discriminatory.

Edit: this is not legal advice

Talk to your coworkers. If you are not alone not wanting to take it, then your employer won't probably do it. If you are already ready to be fired, you may as well do that. You can be a hero just doing this. It's pretty easy to become a hero this way and you can brag about it for the future.

File a religious exemption. I'm spiritual but not a member of a specific church. I spoke with a lawyer this morning that said it will be very hard for them to deny me as long as I don't bring up anything science related. He also told me to file a medical one as well, even though they gave me a hard time over it last year. He said that both should cover me and the medical would put me under the ADA.

take out a piece of paper right now and write down everything (or just type it up, lol) that you can remember about anything they've ever said or done or announced that pressured or threatened you to take the clotshot or any other politically charged thing they've ever said.

from this point forward, audio record all conversations between you and anyone from the company corporate side of things (suits).

make them fire you, tell them you love working there and you wish they would respect your rights instead of firing you and if they ever changed their mind you'd love to come back to work for them (with the recorder on).

make them put shit in writing whenever you can, emails are great for this.

make them fire you, file wrongful termination, file unemployment and health care asap... like next day... before you call a lawyer. it can sometimes take a bit for the money to start coming in so get on it.

from that point forward the choice is up to you... you've got everything you need to sue the living fuck out of those people, or, you can just juice some unemployment for a bit while you look for a way cooler job or maybe even try to start a business so you never have to deal with assholes having that power over you again.

before you do any of that feel free to run what i just said past a lawyer and have him tell you if i'm full of shit or not.

Best advice this thread. Document everything.

Yes, have them put their policy in writing. It pays to be kinda dumb and have them explain it until it’s crystal clear.

Make them fire you. Collect unemployment. Then sue them. Win settlement. Retire.

Find your local evangelical church, and just cold call the pastor, and go the route of a religious exemption. Provide no details, other than "it's against my religion."

Wagie in a cagie

And you want me to tell you if you should sell out or not.

We can all talk big until we stare into the abyss.

Ask for proof of insurance showing liability for any possible adverse health events conceivably linked to an experimental medical product.
