Most people are not thinking at this level.

They're not thinking at all except for:

Fire bad. Me hate fire.

at this level

The level (balance) represents potential (comprehension) and one builds it by adapting to inspiration; while resting ignorance thereof for suggested information.

They're not thinking at all

To be able to balance comprehension (potential) to perception (potentiality) requires use of free will of choice (chocie equals balance). Their thoughts adhere to the suggested beliefs they consented to; which were offered to them by the free will of others, and consenting to believe them represents the ignorance of ones own free will, hence lack of balance.

Fire bad. Me hate fire.

Hate vs love represents the conflict of reason (true vs false); which is caused by consenting to believe the suggestion of others, because when you believe; you choose true or false, and when you then act upon true or false belief; you cause conflict with the opposite...believers vs non-believers about true vs false aka reason.

Meanwhile, fire represents form within flow and us perceiving its movement with our senses inspires us to comprehend its potentiality. So instead of reason (hate fire vs love fire), we need to use implication (if fire; then...); which leads to infinite inspiration to teach/learn from.

Furthermore; by branding it "fire" we ignore flow; which restricts inspiration perceived. We don't need to brand fire to comprehend its movement; it's potentiality, and the more we adapt to this inspiration, the more we build our own comprehension (potential) about what to do with fire. Now exchange "fire" with anything else and you can get a glimpse behind the curtain of the "word/idols" spell.

If I suggest words to describe the world to you, and you consent to believe me, then I become the master over those words that describe the world you perceive. Languages represent a deceptive layer between perception and comprehension; preventing potentiality (flow) to reach potential (form) and our free will of choice represents the gatekeeper.
