the majority of ppl in the first world dont care what gets done to them, as long as they have a concrete, known social status value. and by the time anyone notices, it will be too late, as i suspect it already is. if ppl didnt insurrect over a bioattack coordinated between the US and China, they'll never do it; not advocating violence here, just saying no one would do anything, and if they did it would justify the martial law stuff.
